Red One Ltd was established in September 2010
As the commercial trading arm of the Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Authority. Red One is governed by a Board of Directors made up of Fire Authority members, members from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service, Independent Non Executive Directors and the Executive Directors.
Red One’s purpose is to ‘use our specialist knowledge and expertise to promote safety through training, emergency response and rescue services’.

Initially set up to provide training to fire and rescue services across the UK, Red One has expanded its range of services to include industrial safety, consultancy and training to a broad range of commercial clients.
Using our experience and expertise we offer the highest quality training and safety support services to clients in safety-critical industry sectors including nuclear, maritime, construction, utilities and fire and rescue.
Our industrial site safety teams include contractor support for confined space access/egress, confined space stand-by rescue, safe work at height, safe working on or near water and the provision industrial fire and rescue teams at some of the largest construction and industrial sites in the UK.
