The Confined Space Entry and Rescue 2 (CSER2) course builds upon the foundational skills acquired in the CSER1 course, introducing advanced techniques required to enter and perform rescues in high-risk confined spaces, including the use of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and vertical lifting of a casualty in a rescue stretcher.

Practical Components Include:

• Working within simulated high-risk confined spaces under controlled conditions.
• Executing co-worker rescues using vertical and horizontal access and egress techniques.
• Donning and operating Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), including pre-use checks and entry control procedures.
• Utilising tripods, pulleys, mechanical advantage systems, and stretchers in rescue simulations
• Performing casualty care and packaging for extraction

• Perform safe entry, work, and rescue in high-risk confined spaces.
• Communicate effectively and manage incidents as part of a rescue team.
• Provide basic casualty care and safely package and extract casualties.
• Conduct pre-entry checks, safety briefings, and dynamic risk assessments.

Instruction:

Training is delivered by highly experienced instructors with extensive industry knowledge. Candidates are encouraged to ask questions throughout the course.
