Understanding compartment fire behaviour is a critical part of firefighter training. It equips firefighters with the knowledge to recognise how fires behave under changing environmental or structural conditions and, crucially, how to anticipate dangerous fire phenomena such as flashovers and backdraughts before they occur. Our SJF accredited, competency-based CFBTI course is designed to train delegates to safely plan and deliver both theoretical and practical training sessions in compartment firefighting.
